When she was an indoor volleyball player, she contributed twice to V league victories of the NEC Red Rockets. She switched from indoor to beach volley ball in 2002. With Mika Saeki who won a 4th place at the Sydney Olympic Games, they won at the 2004 Beach Volleyball Japan. She was selected for the Japanese team for the 2006 Asian Games. She won the first place at the Japan tour, Odaiba as well as in the Japanese Women Championships. She was also qualified for the Champion Cup in 2008, supported by the TV Asahi Broadcasting Corporation.

In 2009, with Chiaki Kusuhara, the Beijing Olympic player as a partner, they won the Japan Tour Odaiba tournament. She also got noticed wearing a unique 7 colour swimsuit. Since 2010, she has Takemi Nishibori as a partner. They could not achieve the top 5 places of the 2012 London Olympic Games, but they aim to be qualified for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. In addition, she was awarded the 2009 Clarino Beautiful Legs Award. She is popular as a beautiful woman and as well as an athlete.
