Profile

A sports enthusiast from a young age, entered a sports college planning to be a sports trainer. In her sophomore year, experienced extreme pain in her lower back which began to hinder her daily life, eventually leading to a diagnosis of a congenital disorder.

 

Continued to participate in wheelchair basketball after employment, becoming serious in 2009, registering as a professional player, and being chosen to participate in a training camp for Japan national team candidates.

 

Chosen for the first time for the national team at the 2010 International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) World Championships in Great Britain. In 2013, her team won the 24th All Japan Women’s Wheelchair Basketball tournament, where she was also chosen as the MVP.

 

A member of the Tokyo Fighters since February 2017, she has been honing her skills with male athletes.
