The Rugby World Cup 2019 2 Years To Go Festival was held September 20 through November 4, 2017, with numerous events to build up anticipation and excitement for the 2019 tournament to be held in Japan. As part of the festivities, the 2019 trophy was displayed in 12 locations throughout Japan, and rugby was promoted to both existing fans and those new to the sport.
