The International Public Relations Association (International Public Relations Association, hereinafter “IPRA”) is accepting entries for outstanding domestic and international PR activities, projects, and communication campaigns for the international award “Golden World Awards 2022” until Monday, May 9, 2022. IPRA (Headquarters: UK, Established: 1955), which hosts this award, is a global PR association officially accredited by the United Nations. In January 2022, Etsuko Tsugihara, President and CEO of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), was appointed President of the association. SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. serves as the operating secretariat in Japan.

The “Golden World Awards” has been one of the leading international awards in the PR industry since its establishment in 1990, with entries received from around the world every year. Entries can be submitted in a wide variety of 38 categories. In addition to the IPRA Grand Prize, which is the highest award, a special prize will be awarded this year for campaigns that symbolize “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions,” one of the items of the “SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)” set by the United Nations. Excellent PR activities will be recognized from various perspectives and items.

Eligible applicants include corporate public relations representatives, companies and projects that provide consulting services such as brand building and reputation management, PR and marketing companies, and NGO organizations and associations, as well as governments, universities, and educational institutions.

This award aims to create new ideas throughout the PR industry by sharing unique and excellent PR activity examples from around the world, and to create a peaceful and prosperous society through the power of communication. Winners in each category are scheduled to be announced in July 2022.
