Production and operation of a projection mapping event as part of a public offering project to promote nighttime tourism revitalization in Tokyo.
Starting with the development of the event name and key visuals, SUNNY SIDE UP led the direction of all operations, including content production for screening, event production and operation, and publicity, PR, and advertising. The quality of the content and the promotional strategy worked synergistically, achieving over 120% of the expected visitor count during the seven-day event period.

● Overcoming First-Venue Challenges Led by SUNNY SIDE UP
As this was the first projection mapping event at Takanawa Gateway City, we faced challenges in securing projection surfaces, attracting visitors to a location with less natural foot traffic compared to central Tokyo, and creating mapping content that leveraged the history and characteristics of the Takanawa area. SUNNY SIDE UP led the formation of a team of top professionals from each field, combining expertise to tackle these challenges.

● Creative Implementation of Cutting-Edge Technology, Temporal Beauty, and Mobility
Considering that projection mapping events have become increasingly popular and the characteristics of Takanawa Gateway as a city themed around "experimentation," we introduced "moving mirrors," a rare technology in Japan, to create the content. We also centered the content around the themes of time travel and mobility, developing an event name and key visuals that aligned with these concepts, aiming to create an event with distinctive characteristics.
成果
● Achieved Over 120% of Visitor Target
SUNNY SIDE UP handled not only PR but also the design and execution of promotional strategies including advertising and social media campaigns. Despite Takanawa Gateway City being a new area without overwhelming foot traffic, the event was extremely successful every day, attracting over 10,000 visitors on some days. Ultimately, we achieved over 120% of the target visitor count.
