Overview
CRAFT SAKE WEEK, one of the world’s largest “SAKE” events, produced by Hidetoshi Nakata, was held in September 2022 for the first time in three years. Starting with “CRAFT SAKE WEEK at Roppongi Hills 2016,” the event has continued to increase in popularity with each iteration, including “CRAFT SAKE WEEK at Roppongi Hills 2017,” “CRAFT SAKE DAY Fukushima 2017,” “CRAFT SAKE WEEK Tohoku 2018,” “CRAFT SAKE WEEK at Roppongi Hills 2018,” and “CRAFT SAKE WEEK at Roppongi Hills 2019.” It has grown into an event loved by many, not just sake enthusiasts, and made a triumphant return at Yoyogi, where “J-WAVE INSPIRE TOKYO” was held.Ten famous sake breweries representing Japan set up shop on a “daily” basis during the event, and “NIHONMONO KITCHEN,” a food truck developed by “NIHONMONO STORE,” offered dishes and snacks that were arranged from popular products at the store to match the sake, capturing the hearts of visitors.

Activities
① By holding the event within the venue of “J-WAVE INSPIRE TOKYO,” J-WAVE’s announcements were able to effectively reach the target audience of this event.
② Together with JAPAN CRAFT SAKE COMPANY, headed by Hidetoshi Nakata of SUNNY SIDE UP, we handled the planning and operation of the entire event, as well as coordination with all participating breweries. As a result, the participation of breweries with strong drawing power kept visitors coming despite the stormy weather due to the approaching typhoon.
③ “NIHONMONO STORE” is an e-commerce site where you can purchase exceptional products that Hidetoshi Nakata encountered while traveling throughout Japan. It is a business that grew during the three-year hiatus of “CRAFT SAKE WEEK.” By adding arrangements to popular products offered there and serving meals that pair well with sake as “NIHONMONO KITCHEN,” we delivered a unique experience. By carefully considering operations, selecting best-selling items, and naming menu items, as well as meticulously setting prices, customer traffic hardly slowed even in the rain. We also succeeded in significantly increasing new customers through campaigns using LINE and by leveraging e-commerce systems.
