Overview
We were in charge of retainer PR for approximately 9 months for Palo Alto Insight, an AI technology company from Silicon Valley founded in 2017 by CEO Tomoe Ishizumi. Ms. Ishizumi offers consistent support to Japanese companies, from proposing the use of AI to building business models and developing and implementing AI. We contributed to raising awareness by acquiring interviews with Ms. Tomoe Ishizumi (Ishizumi) and coverage at companies that have implemented the technology.

Activities
①Acquisition of exposure related to CEO Tomoe Ishizumi
We approached media outlets to secure coverage of CEO Tomoe Ishizumi as a successful female leader. By keeping up with Ms. Ishizumi’s daily activities and tailoring our approach to each medium, we gained broad exposure in business, IT, and education media.
②Acquisition of coverage linked to hearings and image creation
We collected information on implementing companies and conducted hearings to determine what kind of AI system was being used. We created press releases with content that was related to current events and also led to corporate PR, and promoted them to the media. In response to feedback from the media that “AI has no visuals to cover,” we created visuals by proposing coverage at implementing companies, which led to the acquisition of coverage.
③Approaches linked to seasonality and current events
We approached Fuji Television with content about an AI system being used at an implementing company during the Christmas season, and gained seasonal exposure with the angle of “AI implementation as a secret strategy for cake sales.” In addition, we gained exposure on BS Asahi with the angle of “food loss reduction” regarding the AI system of another implementing company. Our media approach, which linked seasonality and current events, contributed to increased recognition.
