Overview

TABLE STOCK has established a unique new manufacturing method that keeps the noodles and soup from intertwining and maintains the deliciousness, even within the same package, using patented technology. As a result, the “Preserved Food with a Focus on Deliciousness” series has been completed as an evolutionary retort noodle that can be stored at room temperature for 5 years and can be eaten simply by heating it in hot water. With an authentic taste that completely changes the conventional image of “preserved food is not delicious,” you can enjoy it daily, not only in the event of a disaster, but also in outdoor scenes and as rolling stock.

Activities

① Appeal with catchy words such as “stock rice” and “evolutionary retort noodles”

First, in order to raise awareness of the brand name “TABLE STOCK,” we created catchy PR words to represent the product. The characteristics of being able to be stocked on a daily basis and being retort noodles that can be eaten by heating in hot water were converted into words such as “stock rice” and “evolutionary retort noodles” and disseminated. By doing so, we increased opportunities for introduction in the media and created a mechanism that would allow consumers to pick up the product.

 

② Disseminate information with various PR stories, using the different appeals of the product, such as not only preserved food in preparation for disasters, but also outdoor activities and SDGs.

In addition to the context of preserved food in the event of a disaster related to 3.11, we appointed a mountain guide as a KOL to create an image of use in outdoor activities, created an SDGs context involving rolling stock that leads to food loss reduction, and utilized it as a time-saving meal that can be completed in one action. We planned and proposed the various appeals of the product according to the characteristics of the media. We succeeded in getting it published in a wide range of media, including not only media that handle food, but also business media, SDGs media, and media for women. Furthermore, after being evaluated for being attracting attention in many fields and being selected for the hit prediction in the June 2021 issue of “Nikkei Trendy,” it was picked up one after another on television, etc., which contributed to sales.

 

③ Various business opportunities arise due to media exposure

After the launch, brand recognition expanded through all media such as television, newspapers, magazines, websites, and SNS. As a result, we were flooded with inquiries for all kinds of purposes from food manufacturers, retailers, and other general companies. This has helped to expand distribution and acquire new business opportunities.
