Overview

The “Hot Sake Station” was first held in 2019. It is held every year with the aim of allowing people of various nationalities and ages to enjoy the appeal of hot sake. *2020 was the second event.

The venue is an actual, currently unused station platform called the “phantom platform 3.” Some kotatsu seats are available, and you can enjoy hot sake and oden, winter features, in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era, with red lanterns hanging down while watching trains come and go up close.

Activities

We were in charge of PR for the event “Hot Sake Station,” which is organized by the National Hot Sake Contest Executive Committee, which holds the world’s largest and only hot sake-specialized contest, to allow more people to taste the contest-winning sake and widely publicize the appeal of hot sake. Starting with planning, we planned an unexpected venue to enhance the PR hook, and a layout with Showa-era red lanterns, kotatsu, and padded clothes. Furthermore, by proposing to incorporate new hot sake trends such as truffle hot sake, we attracted the attention of many media outlets and led to wide exposure. By also acquiring advance notice, we contributed to ticketing, and people of all ages enjoyed hot sake.
