Overview

“Jetset” opened in Hiroo in 2013 as Japan’s first shampoo blowout salon. We are a hair salon that does not cut hair, offering supreme services specializing in shampooing and blow-drying, without offering regular haircuts or hair coloring. In addition to our services, we are also working to reform the way people work in the beauty industry. We aim to create a workplace where people who have beauty qualifications but cannot or do not work can easily work by advocating “no overtime pay for services,” “no nomination system,” and “flexible work system,” so that people who have retired once or mothers with children can easily work.

Activities

We worked with the Dentsu team to rebrand “Jetset.” We created almost all aspects of communication, including website renovation, logo changes, brand message changes, and PR/SNS strategy formulation. In addition, we recommended the introduction of a “subscription (monthly fixed-rate system)”, which we believed would become a trend in 2019, as a pricing system. By communicating the fact that shampooing and blow-drying can now be experienced at reasonable prices through various media and SNS, we have not only expanded awareness but also increased the number of customers. In addition, as a promotional strategy, we are proposing to utilize it as a welfare benefit for companies, and we are supporting a wide range of measures to determine how shampooing and blow-drying can take root in Japan as a culture, not just publicity activities.
