Overview
W20 (Woman 20) is an engagement group of the G20 (an organization consisting of 20 countries and regions, including 7 countries participating in the Summit, the EU, Russia, and 11 emerging countries), and makes policy recommendations on women to G20 leaders, thereby influencing the formation of a new international economic order.
“W20 JAPAN 2019,” where top leaders from around the world participated and discussed initiatives to promote the advancement of women in Japan and around the world, was held in Japan for the first time in March 2019.
