Overview

The “TOKYO DANCE MUSIC EVENT” was held at Shibuya Hikarie over 3 days from 11/30 to 12/2, 2017. The event is one of Japan’s largest dance music conferences & live events, bringing together club artists and related parties involved in dance music from Japan and abroad to discuss the future of dance music in Japan. In addition to the conference event, live events were held simultaneously at 6 venues, including clubs scattered throughout Shibuya and Shibuya Hikarie. For 3 days, the city of Shibuya became 1 with “dance music.” The Japan’s first live event, “SPINNIN‘ SESSIONS at TDME,” was the first time that Shibuya Hikarie became a live dance music venue since its opening, and many fans from Japan and around the world were enthusiastic.

Activities

We were in charge of planning and implementing the PR strategy for this event, which was held for the second time. In addition to creating excitement on the day of the event, we also gained a lot of publicity that contributed to the event’s ticket sales. We gained a lot of exposure in the music industry, as well as in newspapers (front page), magazines, and on the WEB to raise general awareness.
