Overview
A campaign was conducted at vending machines nationwide to promote the sale of canned coffee brands. By utilizing the animated work “Dragon Ball,” we not only contributed to sales but also incorporated a message based on brand communication, and planned the project. Aimed at working men, who are also the target audience, we developed figures with functions that can be used in the workplace by each “Dragon Ball” character (all 7 types), and launched the campaign.
Activities
SUNNY SIDE UP was in charge of campaign planning, design, and premium production. In order to not only encourage the target audience to purchase but also promote brand switching, we planned and developed premiums in collaboration with “Dragon Ball.” The premiums are original figures that capture symbolic scenes of each Dragon Ball character and add ”functions that can be used in the workplace” tailored to the character’s characteristics. We worked on sales promotion with a particular focus on bridging the gap between the work and the product brand.
