Overview
Tohato continues to challenge itself by creating unprecedented new snacks like Habanero Tyrant, while also offering long-selling products such as Caramel Corn, Poteco, All Raisin, and Harvest.
SUNNY SIDE UP has consistently supported Tohato in all aspects of advertising and public relations, including PR for over 100 new products released each year, planning and managing campaigns and events, and supporting corporate public relations.

Activities
In 2003, the project in which Hidetoshi Nakata, a soccer Japan national team player (at the time) affiliated with SUNNY SIDE UP, assumed the position of CBO (Chief Branding Officer) at Tohato became a social news story as an unprecedented initiative.
Against the backdrop of this immense attention, the unique PR for Caramel Corn, which was significantly renewed in the same year, and the new product “Habanero Tyrant” were successful. In particular, “Habanero Tyrant” was nominated for the Buzzword of the Year award in 2004 and received numerous hit awards. Subsequently, various activities were carried out, such as event PR for the “Snack House” campaign, which garnered attention. “Kanael Corn,” in which we were involved from the product planning stage, is now a staple during the exam season.
