Overview

2011Immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11,2011, we planned a charity program in response to an urgent offer from TV stations in Taiwan.The program in cooperation with the Taiwan Red Cross and various TV stations was realized on March 18th. On the program, Taiwanese celebrities visited the studio one after another, giving interviews and performing to promote donations.

Activities

3Immediately after the earthquake on March 11th, a TV producer in Taiwan, a friend of Hidetoshi Nakata, offered to help, which led to the start of a special program to raise donations. SUNNY SIDE UP coordinated the project on the Japanese side,This program, in cooperation with the Taiwan Red Cross, became a live charity program jointly broadcast by 3 TV stations in Taiwan, an unusual event for Taiwan only 1 week after the earthquake. Ma Ying-jeou, the then President of Taiwan, also visited the studio, and top executives of famous companies appeared on the program, competing to donate tens of millions of yen, and ultimately 2.1 billion yen in donations was collected.
