[Grill Press Release] Started “GoodTele,” a video news distribution service that interviews, edits, and delivers products and services as news videos

Grill, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daichi Iwadate), aiming to provide comprehensive communication services that cross digital and real domains, will launch “GoodTele,” a video news distribution service that efficiently delivers the products and services that companies want to deliver to consumers by interviewing them, editing video content from the perspective of a news program, and targeting segmented target groups from among users of the information curation app “Gunosy” from February 4 (Tuesday).

The video advertising market *1 is expected to reach 259.2 billion yen in 2019, 328.9 billion yen in 2020, and 506.5 billion yen in 2023, and is expected to expand approximately twofold in five years. From this year onward, with the spread of the next-generation communication standard “5G,” video is expected to become the central focus of Internet content viewing, especially on consumers’ smartphones.

However, as the total amount of video content increases with the expansion of the market, much of the information that companies want to appeal to is either skipped or buried without being viewed as uninteresting information for consumers.

In a situation where it is becoming increasingly important to deliver information as natural and valuable information to consumers from among the massive amount of information content they come into contact with in their daily lives, Gunosy, which aims to create a society where people can enjoy the information and content they want without stress by delivering the right information to the right people, and SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP, which has been creating news by adding value to various content for 35 years since its founding, have a high affinity with the future video content market and can sufficiently meet corporate needs, so we developed this service.

■What is the new service “GoodTele”?
The main target of the video news distribution service “GoodTele” is men and women from young to older age groups who are interested in social trends such as news, who are users of “Gunosy.” By converting content into natural and valuable information and approaching target groups with high affinity, we aim to maximize appeal. We interview companies from the perspective of creating news programs about the products and services, development stories, and product usage reviews that companies want to deliver to consumers, and convert them into video content as natural and valuable information.

We utilize the information curation app “Gunosy” to efficiently distribute information to segmented target groups. The distribution destination is “Gunosy,” which boasts 33 million downloads, where it is possible to select tabs and narrow down by age, gender, and place of residence, and in addition, by distributing on SNS according to attributes, it is possible to maximize the appeal to the target.
