背景
● Contributing to sustainable cultural tourism
The project was implemented with the aim of viewing the vast architectural space of the Kyoto Station Building as art, providing new cultural experiences through diverse forms of expression such as contemporary art and traditional crafts, serving as a hub for cultural exchange through interaction among visitors, the local community, and artists, and carrying forward cultural interest after the Osaka-Kansai Expo to Kyoto.
In addition, this initiative aims to contribute to sustainable cultural tourism by collaborating with shrines and temples in Kyoto City.

● 32 media representatives attended
An opening event was held inside the Kyoto Station Building, the event venue for Geijutsu no Eki 2025. While we primarily invited media from the Kansai region, we also succeeded in attracting media representatives from the Kanto region who were staying in Kansai long-term for the Expo. By leveraging the timing of the day after the Expo ended, 32 media representatives attended the preview and opening ceremony, helping create a lively atmosphere on the first day.
At the preview, the media were divided into three groups, routes were created for each, and guides were assigned at each location. By ensuring a clear flow that enabled thorough coverage, we generated high-quality exposure.
成果
● Secured exposure equivalent to approximately ¥200 million in advertising value (also featured on Kyoto Broadcasting and Kansai ZIP!)
We also attracted TV media, including Kyoto Broadcasting and Yomiuri TV. Kyoto Broadcasting featured the event four times over three days starting on the event day, and we also secured an individual interview with the president of the Kyoto Station Building. In addition, on Yomiuri TV’s “Kansai ZIP!”, we secured coverage from various angles, including customer interviews and a director’s tasting segment.
We also invited sports newspapers by leveraging talk events featuring model SHIHO and artist DAICHI MIURA, gaining exposure as entertainment as well. As a result, we secured exposure from multiple angles, achieving an advertising value equivalent of approximately ¥200 million.
