Overview

glafit has developed a new mechanism called “Mobichange” that allows switching between an electric bike and a bicycle on one unit. After about three years, it was approved by the National Police Agency, and in December 2022, pre-orders began for the “first” two-wheeled bike in Japan. Furthermore, marking its 5th anniversary, the company appointed its first brand supporter. To commemorate this, a strategy presentation for the media was held.

① Achieved over 300 million yen in advertising equivalent with 6 TV appearances, 5 newspaper articles, and 589 web articles

By taking a three-pronged approach of “Entertainment,” “Business,” and “Experience” and efficiently executing approaches to each category, exposure was gained in a wide range of media, including product-related and business-related media. Inquiries continued even after the event ended, creating a significant response.

② A test ride event for the media was also held after the event

A test ride event was also held to allow people to actually experience the feeling of using the “glafit” with the new “Mobichange” mechanism introduced at the strategy presentation. By acquiring not only the content of the presentation and the new mechanism, but also experience reviews of “Mobichange,” it led to exposure that further contributed to stimulating consumer interest and purchasing.
