2017MayThe “STAR ISLAND” event was held at Odaiba Marine Park on 27th. This world-first event, themed around “evolving fireworks culture” and “changing the way fireworks are viewed,” is a new sensation in fireworks entertainment, where fireworks, a traditional Japanese culture, are completely synchronized with 3D sound that envelops the venue, lighting, and over 100 talented performers. As a Made in Japan event that Japan is proud of, it marked a new beginning for traditional culture from Tokyo to the world.

SUNNY SIDE UP was in charge of planning and implementing the PR communication plan. As this was the first event, we actively participated from the material gathering stage and gained exposure in many media outlets such as TV, newspapers, magazines, and the WEB. We contributed to maximizing the buzz around the event itself, as well as to ticket sales as PR.
