Overview

Heinz Beck, who earned three stars in the “Michelin Guide” in 2005 at Rome’s “La Pergola” and has received top ratings every year in many other guides, has finally made his first foray into Japan. In November 2014, he simultaneously opened two restaurants in Marunouchi, Tokyo, bearing his name: the fine dining “HEINZ BECK,” which offers innovative cuisine, and “sensi by Heinz Beck,” where you can enjoy modern Italian cuisine.

Activities

To coincide with the chef’s visit to Japan prior to the grand opening, we invited editors-in-chief and restaurant journalists from target media, mainly magazines, to a party commemorating his visit to Japan. By inviting a limited number of people, we created a sense of exclusivity, and the chef’s cuisine, which was carefully savored in a seated setting, promoted fan engagement and built good relationships. At the time of the opening and after, we strategically promoted the chef’s and the restaurants’ branding in Japan by securing a large number of high-quality exposures in target media.
