Kyobashi Edogrand Temporary Enclosure Live Painting Performance
- 活動期間:
- August 2015 –
Overview
In the fall of 2016, Kyobashi Edogrand, a new landmark complex, will be born in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku. An art project was developed to express how Kyobashi will be reborn around this facility and how vibrancy will be nurtured, on the temporary enclosure installed during construction. Takeshi Sato, a paint artist who is attracting attention from home and abroad, was appointed, and the appealing future of Kyobashi was drawn in an overwhelming live paint performance on a temporary enclosure with a total length of approximately 60 m.

Activities
Utilizing the temporary enclosure of “Kyobashi Edogrand” under construction in Kyobashi, PR was developed with the aim of allowing people visiting the city to experience the world view of the facility, thoughts on redevelopment, and the value of Kyobashi. We were able to gain a lot of media exposure, including television and general newspapers, by disseminating information that hooked on the unique “story” of drawing the future of Kyobashi with roller art on the background of redevelopment and the temporary enclosure, and the innovative “image creation” of the live paint performance by Takeshi Sato.
