Overview
As a branding initiative for FAUCHON, we developed and released original products to coincide with the reopening of the Kabukiza Theatre.
Activities
We leveraged the socially newsworthy “event (fact)” of the Shin-Kabukiza Theatre’s opening. By identifying commonalities between the Kabukiza Theatre and FAUCHON and creating a story around them, we added significance and value to the collaboration. As a result, an original éclair was born, using the easily recognizable motif of the “Joshiki-maku” (traditional Kabuki curtain) and recreating it with Japanese flavors of yuzu and matcha. The product’s story, as well as its visual appeal, helped us achieve extensive media coverage and generate buzz.
