Overview
Hidetoshi Nakata, who touches on Japanese culture, traditions, agriculture, manufacturing, etc., and disseminates its appeal both domestically and internationally, and Nikken Sougyo Co., Ltd., which sympathized with this initiative, jointly launched a new “Monozukuri Nippon x ReVALUE NIPPON” project on the manufacturing industry-specialized job information site “e-Shigoto” to widely convey the appeal of Japanese manufacturing both domestically and internationally.
With the aim of expanding efforts to enrich the way young Japanese people work through manufacturing, Hidetoshi Nakata also appeared in a TV commercial with the theme of “Take a job, not a company.”
As part of the project, staff were recruited from the general public to actually work at “nakata.net Cafe 2014,” a cafe produced by Nakata in Brazil in June 2014. Two staff members selected from a large number of applicants were responsible for conveying Japanese culture in Brazil.

Activities
We were in charge of casting Hidetoshi Nakata, planning and implementing the project, and implementing promotion and PR plans to generate buzz.
In addition to the uniqueness of the project itself, its timeliness and the name recognition of “Hidetoshi Nakata” helped us succeed in getting it picked up by many media outlets, and applications flooded in. After that, in addition to announcing the campaign, we held a departure ceremony at the Brazilian Embassy and an opening reception in the field attended by legends of the soccer world such as Arsène Wenger, manager of England’s Arsenal FC, and Bixente Lizarazu, which successfully generated buzz. It was widely reported both domestically and internationally.
