- 業種:
- 活動期間:
- December 2012 – February 2013
Overview
Held as an event in conjunction with “World Snow Day,” advocated by the International Ski Federation to promote winter sports, with the aim of increasing public interest in winter sports, promoting the holding of the “National Sports Festival Tokyo 2013,” and building momentum for the “Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Bid.”
The main event was the “Tokyo Hip Jump Championship,” where a ski jump was set up in Roppongi Hills, and 11 domestic and international ski athletes performed powerful jumps from a height of approximately 15 meters above the ground. In addition, personalities such as Tsugiharu Ogiwara, Yoshio Kojima, Akiko Murashige, and Natsuki Kato appeared on stage, and participatory events such as “Kids Snow Land” and “Snow Flag Challenge” that families and kids could enjoy were also held.
Activities
Taking advantage of our track record in implementing various sports events in the city center, such as Tokyo Street Athletics and Tokyo Sports Town, we formulated a challenging plan to set up a ski jump of approximately 15m in Roppongi Hills and showcase the spectacular performances of top athletes. We successfully led the event to success through meticulous planning and execution, from venue selection to design and construction.
In addition, we formulated and implemented a PR plan that made full use of our sports event PR know-how, such as creating visuals unique to events in the city center, which are different from stadiums.
