Overview

Dai Tamesue, then an active athlete, appeared as an athlete guest on the “IAAF World Championships Daegu, Korea” broadcast by TBS.

Although it was the first time for an active athlete to appear as a guest, it was realized due to Tamesue’s strong desire to “promote track and field.” The program was well-received for providing easy-to-understand explanations for those unfamiliar with track and field, with plenty of information that only he could convey, such as the lives, efforts, and personalities of athletes outside of competition.

Activities

We planned and implemented PR and casting for the “IAAF World Championships Daegu, Korea” tournament broadcast by TBS.

We cast Dai Tamesue as an athlete guest and held an inauguration press conference as part of the PR. At the press conference, he touched on players who were a hot topic at the time, and was introduced not only on television but also in newspapers and web media. In addition, as a management task, a manager accompanied him to the site to handle interviews, attend from the hotel to the stadium, and adjust the schedule of programs in which Tamesue appeared, creating an environment where he could concentrate on the program as an athlete guest in addition to his main business, and support the activities of athletes other than competitions.
