Overview
Since 1970, football charity matches have been held around the world. As matches featuring numerous star players have increased and social contribution has become a major part of the football world, Hidetoshi Nakata has also continued to participate in matches as a member of the world’s best team.
Activities
Charity matches have addressed various social issues such as support for developing countries and disaster recovery. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, many countries held events to support Japan. Hidetoshi Nakata, through the TAKE ACTION FOUNDATION, a general incorporated foundation where he serves as representative director, not only held charity matches in Singapore and Thailand but also actively participated in charity matches around the world, actively promoting support for Japan.
