Overview

As a project to revitalize traditional Japanese crafts, culture, and technology, this project aims to create opportunities for more people to learn about the value and potential of Japanese artisans. Each year, a theme is selected, such as “ceramics,” “washi paper,” “bamboo,” or “paper patterns.” A collaboration team of experts from a wide range of fields, including crafts, art, and design, who agree with the purpose of the project, creates works and disseminates information about the process. Since 2009, the annual “GALA” party has been held to support society and return profits, and many people have participated.
