Profile
She loved sports from a young age and entered a physical education university after graduating from high school, aiming to become a sports trainer. In her second year of university, she suddenly suffered from lower back pain, which gradually interfered with her daily life, and she was diagnosed with a congenital disability.
While continuing to compete while working for a general company, she began competing in earnest after registering as a player in 2009. In the same year, she was selected for the national team candidate camp and training camp.
In 2010, she was selected to represent Japan for the first time at the IWBF World Championship in Great Britain. In the 24th All-Japan Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Championship in 2013, her team won and she was selected as MVP.
From April 2018, she belongs to SCRATCH,
At the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics held in 2021, she participated as a member of the women’s national team and won 6th place.
