Born in Tokyo. Started street dancing in 1996.

 

From 2001, for approximately 20 years, he was a member of Dragon Ash, a leading Japanese mixture rock band. At the same time, he started his career as a professional dancer.

 

From 2006, he began his activities as a solo dancer in parallel with the band.

 

Since then, within Japan, he has actively engaged in physical expression activities while interacting with “others,” including dance performances at museums, historical buildings such as national treasure shrines and temples, and session live performances with numerous artists, including collaborations with local traditional performing arts.

 

In 2009, he launched the project “POWER of LIFE” to convey the wonder and preciousness of life, and started activities as its representative. Through expressive activities such as live performances and photo exhibitions, he supports animal shelters.

 

In March 11, 2011, when the Great East Japan Earthquake struck, he visited the site to support reconstruction efforts, which led him to plan and host the outdoor festival “GAMA ROCK FES” in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, from 2012, which has been held every year in September since then.

 

Outside of Japan, he has performed in Asia, Europe, America, Russia, and other countries, and has also appeared in many fashion shows such as the Paris Collection, expanding his activities as a cultural exchange ambassador.

 

In 2021, his first solo dance performance “POWER of LIFE” in Paris was highly acclaimed, leading him to decide to base his activities in Paris in 2024.

 

After obtaining a French talent visa and moving to France, he has been actively engaged in solo performances and collaborations with artists living in France. In the summer of 2024, he will make his opera debut in Madame Butterfly at a festival in the South of France, and will reprise the role at the Lyon Opera House in 2025.

 

He is a unique and unparalleled dancer who, after a period of time from the forefront of a rock band, is now taking the stage of a foreign opera for the first time.

With a dance and lifestyle that is not bound by genres or frameworks, he is expanding his field of activity as an expressionist, dancer, and artist to the world, and is pursuing his own unique path.
