SUNNY SIDE UP Inc., which is responsible for the core business of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc., is collaborating with the Preparatory Committee for the Nippon Foundation Dwango Gakuen, which is applying for approval to establish the online university “ZEN University (Tentative Name, Application for Establishment Approval Pending)” with the aim of opening in April 2025, to jointly develop a practical career education program aimed at fostering human resources who will thrive in society.

ZEN University is a full-fledged online university where students can acquire the qualities and skills to succeed in the global society. Through practical learning utilizing cutting-edge AI and ICT tools, as well as project activities in collaboration with local governments and companies, the university plans to provide an environment that cultivates practical skills for success in society.

With the aim of “creating an environment where each individual can work in their own way,” our company, which promotes the diversification of work styles by establishing its own welfare program called “32 Systems,” regardless of differences in place of residence or income, sympathizes with ZEN University’s philosophy of “providing opportunities for all people to go on to university,” and has now realized the development of a joint educational program.

In this program, we will provide opportunities for students to consistently practice all aspects of article production as editors of “SDGs MAGAZINE,” an online magazine operated by our company that disseminates information and messages related to the SDGs activities of companies and organizations, from planning articles on social issues to conducting interviews, writing articles, proofreading, and disseminating information.

Through this program, we will create opportunities for students to develop a deep interest in social issues, including the SDGs, improve students’ practical problem-solving skills, and foster awareness of future careers, thereby supporting the development of human resources who will contribute to society. In addition, “SDGs MAGAZINE,” with students joining the editorial team, will broadly disseminate students’ unique perspectives and awareness of social issues, further enhance the social momentum toward achieving the SDGs, and continue to work toward contributing to the achievement of the goals by 2030.
