JAPAN CRAFT SAKE COMPANY, represented by Hidetoshi Nakata, who is managed by SUNNY SIDE UP Inc., will hold the Japanese food culture festival “CRAFT SAKE WEEK 2024 at ROPPONGI HILLS” at Roppongi Hills Arena for 12 days from April 18 (Thursday) to 29 (Monday/Holiday), 2024.

“CRAFT SAKE WEEK” was started in 2016 by organizer Hidetoshi Nakata, who travels all over Japan, meets many producers mainly in sake, agriculture, and crafts, and feels the depth and potential of sake in particular, with the desire to “convey the wonders of Japanese culture to many people.”

We are focusing on carefully selected sake from all over the country and disseminating the appeal of sake and the food culture that is closely related to sake. So far, it has been held not only in Roppongi, Tokyo, but also in local cities such as Hakata and Sendai, and has attracted a total of 800,000 visitors.

This year’s CRAFT SAKE WEEK will be held for 12 days, with a record number of 120 breweries participating, carefully selected through tasting sessions by over 100 people, including Hidetoshi Nakata, sake experts, and top chefs.

During the event, a different sake theme will be set each day, and the number of breweries exhibiting will be limited to 10 per day according to each theme, so that there will be new discoveries every time you come, and you can find sake that suits your taste. At the venue, sake breweries themselves will serve sake and communicate directly with participants, creating opportunities to experience the appeal of sake as a place where you can not only enjoy delicious sake and learn about pairings with food, but also learn about sake.
