SUNNY SIDE UP Inc., which is in charge of the core business of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc., is pleased to announce that Yaho Brewing’s “Yakusoku no Yona Yona Ale” project, for which we handled PR, won the ACC Bronze Award in the Branded Communication category of the “63rd ACC TOKYO CREATIVITY AWARDS,” one of the largest creative awards in Japan.

The “Yakusoku no Yona Yona Ale” project focused on “future promises.” Parents are excited to talk about “Let’s drink beer together” when their children turn 20. In order to make such a drinking promise “real,” we made it possible to reserve “Yona Yona Ale to be released in 10 or 20 years.” The reservation method is to put a letter of promise between parents and children in a beer can-shaped time capsule and store it for 10 or 20 years. When the child grows up, this can becomes a reservation ticket, and they can toast together. This is a measure that turns the restriction that alcohol is only allowed from the age of 20 into an opportunity to look forward to the future.
