■About XR STUDIO Package with Green Power Certificate

At “XR STUDIO,” which the Company newly established in July, we utilize the latest and most advanced digital technology to produce highly effective and reproducible XR videos that combine technology and creativity to provide convenient total communication for companies and organizations.

This time, in order to help promote sustainability, which many companies and organizations are working on in recent years, we will start a new service that provides all the electricity generated during XR video shooting with environmentally friendly green power.

This package provides a “Green Power Certificate” issued by Japan Natural Energy Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshiki Kato) along with the video shot at the XR studio. By conducting sustainable XR shooting using green power, we will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society that companies and organizations are aiming for.

Green power refers to electricity generated by natural energy sources such as wind power, solar power, and biomass (biological resources). Power generation using fossil fuels such as oil and coal generates CO2 (carbon dioxide) during power generation, but power generation using natural energy is believed to not generate CO2 during power generation. It is also a renewable energy source, so it has a low environmental impact. By using this energy, it is possible to contribute to the achievement of two of the 17 goals set out in the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals): Goal 7 (Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all) and Goal 13 (Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts).

The Company’s “XR STUDIO” is a virtual studio that enables shooting in high-quality and hyper-realistic backgrounds created using cutting-edge technology. A series of technologies including XR are all virtual spaces and do not exist in the real world drawn by CG, so it is an ecological shooting technology that does not produce any waste such as structures called “shooting sets” such as art and props used in normal studio recordings.
