SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masato Kokubo) is pleased to announce that it has signed a management agreement with Aren Hachimura, who belongs to the Gunma Crane Thunders, on January 23, 2023.
Aren Hachimura is one of the leading players of his generation, boasting a total of five national championship victories. He has consistently been selected for the national team by age group since his high school days, and although he is in his first year as a professional, he has established himself as a regular member of the Gunma Crane Thunders, which belongs to the B. League’s B1. While possessing a size and athletic ability that sets him apart from other Japanese players, he also possesses a high-percentage 3P shot, and is expected to play an active role on the national team in the future.

Experienced baseball, soccer, and track and field in elementary school. Started playing basketball in earnest in the first year of junior high school, and was first selected for the U-16 Japan national team in the first year of high school. Since then, he has steadily progressed through the U-18 Japan national team and the U-22 Japan national team. He is also expected to be one of the players who will lead the Japanese basketball world in the future, as he was also selected for the B.LEAGUE ASIA RISING STAR GAME held on January 13 of this year.
