- SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP

Our company has been certified as a “Tokyo Sports Promotion Company for FY2022” under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Tokyo Sports Promotion Company Certification System.”
Since our founding in 1985, we have grown as a PR company handling athlete management, literally alongside the content of “sports.” Currently, we are also heavily involved in the planning and operation of international sporting events held in Japan, steadily expanding our sports marketing domain.
Because we understand the value of sports more than anyone else, and with the belief that we must not neglect our own health due to being busy, we have been promoting the creation of an environment that supports the health and lives of our employees. This includes the “Club Activity Support” system, the “Happiness Doesn’t Come Walking” system, the “Aim for an A Body!” system, and “Fitness Lessons for Employees” tailored to work styles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, as our lifestyles have changed significantly due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, and the need to consciously maintain a healthy lifestyle has increased, we are promoting the development of an environment that can further support opportunities for employees to exercise.
We believe that the health of our employees leads to improved creativity and productivity, which is the driving force behind our company’s slogan, “fun commotion.” Going forward, we will continue to strive to improve the value of sports and increase the sports population through interaction with sports.
Main initiatives:
■ “Happiness Doesn’t Come Walking” System
This system aims to improve the exercise habits of employees by setting rewards based on the number of steps recorded on a pedometer app. All employees whose average daily steps exceed 10,000 steps per month will receive a monthly health reward of “3,200 yen.”
■ “Club Activity Support” System
With the aim of improving performance in work by deepening communication between employees, a portion of the expenses for officially recognized club activities within the company is subsidized as club fees. Currently, the futsal club, basketball club, baseball club, golf club, Tokyo Runners club, and others are active as officially recognized clubs.
■ “Aim for an A Body!” System
This is a system that provides health incentives to employees who maintain and promote their health through regular exercise habits and achieve the following target values in their regular health checkups. All employees are eligible, and if they receive an A rating in the “Overall Judgment” of their regular health checkup, they will receive a health incentive of “¥32,000.” In addition, for employees with a BMI value that is above the standard value of “normal weight” (25 or more), a health incentive of “¥10,000” will be paid for each degree of decrease in the degree of obesity compared to the regular health checkup one year prior.
*The “Tokyo Sports Promotion Company Certification System” is a system established in 2015 by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to certify companies that promote employee sports activities and engage in social contribution activities in the field of sports. For FY2022, 366 companies were certified.
