(Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Etsuko Tsugihara; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) hereby announces that it has entered into a specialist agreement with Makiko Kawamura (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director of MZ Social Co., Ltd.) as of September 1, 2022 (Thursday).

Makiko Kawamura is an entrepreneur who runs the online salon “Holland Village Private Salon,” which boasts approximately 10,000 members (as of August 2022), including those from both Japan and overseas, in just one year since its opening.

With her professional financial knowledge cultivated over 20 years at a U.S.-based financial institution, as well as her communication skills as a salesperson, she delivers beneficial information in her daily morning column, reflecting her strong desire to never stop learning and her input of information on a wide range of domestic and international affairs, 365 days a year.

Her fresh and innovative insights have inspired many people both inside and outside the online salon to “rethink the obvious,” generating empathy from approximately 200,000 fans across social media.

Meanwhile, under the slogan of “Let’s Have Fun!” which has remained unchanged since its founding, the Company continues to disseminate information to the world using various methods tailored to the changing times.

Makiko Kawamura

Born in Nara Prefecture in 1976.
Spent her childhood in Chiba Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, and Singapore due to her parents’ job transfers.
In 1994, in the spring of her third year of high school, she decided to transfer to a high school in Los Angeles.
After returning to Japan, she entered Kwansei Gakuin University but voluntarily withdrew and went to the United States.
In 2000, after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, she joined a U.S.-based investment bank.
Started an online salon business in August 2021.
Currently, she is dedicated to managing the online salon “Holland Village Private Salon.”
In addition, she is developing and selling the carbonated pack brand “Carrie.”
Holland Village Private Cafe is scheduled to open in October 2022.
