SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Etsuko Tsugihara), and its consolidated subsidiaries, will implement the following measures from October 1, 2021 (Friday), following the lifting of the state of emergency by the government.
■ Basic Policy of Our Group
Period: From October 1 (Friday) until a new declaration is issued
1) Working Style
We will lift restrictions on commuting to work, provided that rules for preventing infection in the workplace, such as staggered commuting hours, social distancing, and eating lunch alone, are thoroughly implemented.
* Necessary telework will be implemented as needed with the approval of the head of each company and department.
2) Eating and Drinking with Alcohol
We will operate the following three rules in accordance with the requests made by each local government to restaurants and bars.
Rule ①: Use of restaurants and bars certified for infection control measures
Rule ②: Use by groups of no more than 4 people
Rule ③: Use of establishments serving alcohol until 9:00 p.m.
* If the content of restrictions differs depending on the local government, such as Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, and Ibaraki, the rules of each local government will be observed.
* The above rules are subject to change depending on future infection conditions.
The above policies will be implemented based on the following preconditions.
Precondition 1)

⑤ Reduce the number of employees commuting to work by 70% by promoting the use of telework and encouraging the acquisition of holidays
⑧ Except when necessary for business continuity, employees should finish work and return home early by 8:00 p.m.
Precondition 2)
Led by the Cabinet Secretariat
Compliance with Guidelines for Responding to the Novel Coronavirus in Normal Times
① Thorough implementation of measures to prevent infection in the workplace
Thorough hand washing and finger disinfection, cough etiquette, securing distance between staff, promoting ventilation of workplaces, disinfecting areas touched by multiple people, self-restraint from work for employees with symptoms such as fever, testing using antigen test kits for those with mild symptoms, use of video conferences to reduce employee travel due to business trips, and staggered acquisition of lunch breaks, etc.
② Thorough avoidance of the three C’s and the five situations where infection risk increases, such as “changes in location” (break rooms, changing rooms, smoking rooms, etc.) in the workplace
Until now, our company and its consolidated subsidiaries have flexibly taken countermeasures according to the circumstances at the time, such as promoting telework and staggered commuting, securing social distance during work, introducing “vaccination leave,” and “vaccination in the workplace for entertainment industry workers.” We will continue to strive to understand the situation and take countermeasures accordingly.
