SUNNY SIDE UP Wins Gold Award, the Highest Award in the “Large Agency Category” of “PRWeek Asia Best Places to Work 2021”!

SUNNY SIDE UP Inc., which is responsible for the core business of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Etsuko Tsugihara, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), has won the Gold Award, the highest award in the “Large Agency Category (100 or more employees),” at the “PRWeek Asia Best Places to Work 2021” awards co-sponsored by the global PR industry paper “PRWeek” and “Campaign” published by Haymarket Media.

In recent years, our group has established the “Dear Woman” system, which includes subsidies for everything from egg freezing to storage, and the “Partnership” system, which grants marriage leave and other rights to members who have entered into same-sex or common-law marriages, as part of our unique welfare program, “32 Systems.” In addition, in order to promote corporate growth in anticipation of the “With Corona/After Corona” era and working styles suited to the new era, we renovated our head office at the end of last year, and have been promoting the creation of an environment where each individual can work in their own way, embodying the spirit of diversity and inclusion from both the soft and hard aspects.

In addition, the Company Group is actively promoting activities related to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations) and has established a “Social Good Promotion Office” to promote the resolution of social issues through the power of PR. The award was given in recognition of the company’s comprehensive evaluation as a potential “international role model company” suited to the new era, based on its attitude toward not only pursuing profits for the company alone, but also returning profits to society as a whole and creating a comfortable working environment.

Under the slogan of “Let’s Have Fun!”, which has remained unchanged since our founding, we will continue to promote the creation of an environment where each member can realize a “flexible and diverse way of working and living” while grasping the values and trends that change with the times.

■ About “PRWeek Asia Best Places to Work 2021”

“PRWeek Asia Best Places to Work 2021” is an award co-sponsored by the PR industry paper “PRWeek” and “Campaign” published by Haymarket Media. A total of 11 companies are selected based on a questionnaire on items such as employee benefits and salaries, career support systems, diversity, and work-life balance.

■About the Unique Employee Benefits Program, “The 32 Systems”

Our group seeks human resources with creative ideas and high communication skills. In 2011, before the term “work style reform” even existed, we introduced our unique employee benefits program, “The 32 Systems,” based on the idea that “fulfilling work leads to fulfilling private life, and fulfilling private life leads to better work.” We have incorporated unique systems such as private life enrichment leave systems such as “Love Match Leave,” “Heartbreak Leave,” and “Family Holiday,” as well as the “Happiness Doesn’t Come on Foot” system to promote health maintenance.

In addition, we are promoting the creation of an environmental system that enables a “flexible and diverse way of working” tailored to each member through the implementation of the “Tanokin” system, which encourages members to take “Premium Fridays,” and the “Happy Sunny Day” system, which encourages members to engage in sales activities outside the company and work from home once a month in order to foster more free thinking.
