Our Group’s Response to the Declaration of State of Emergency (Issued in January 2021)

SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Etsuko Tsugihara), together with its consolidated subsidiaries, will respond to the government’s declaration of a state of emergency (period: Friday, January 8 to Sunday, February 7) with the following policies.
① Strengthening Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infection
– Development of a PCR Testing System for All Employees
We will develop a system that allows all employees of SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. and its consolidated subsidiaries to undergo PCR testing at no personal expense.
– Disinfection and Cleaning of Sendagaya Office
The Sendagaya Office (JPR Sendagaya Building 7th and 8th floors) will be disinfected and cleaned by professional contractors.
– Expansion of Office Equipment for the Purpose of Preventing the Spread of Infection
We will increase the number of acrylic walls and humidifiers that have been installed in the work area. By further tightening the rules for sitting at work, we will ensure that even when employees are forced to come to the office, they will be able to perform their duties in a workplace environment that ensures thorough social distancing.
② Change of Work System
SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. and its consolidated subsidiaries will establish a system that allows employees to choose a working style that suits the circumstances of each company, department, and job function, and will implement the following work systems: A) Work-from-home shift (a shift system in which work is performed from home), B) Alternating shift (a shift system in which work is performed alternately between home and the office), and C) Mixed shift (a shift system in which work is performed both at home and in the office during the day).
The working arrangements for each company are as follows:
Mixed System of A) Work-from-home shift, B) Alternating shift, and C) Mixed shift
Target Companies: SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc., SUNNY SIDE UP
Implementation Period: January 8, 2021 (Fri) – February 7, 2021 (Sun)
*For the above two companies, A) Work-from-home shift, B) Alternating shift, and C) Mixed shift will be combined for each department.
A) Work-from-home shift – Shift system to perform duties at home
Target Companies: Wise Integration Inc., SCRAMBLE Inc., AIRSIDE Inc., SUNNY SIDE UP CAREER Inc.
Implementation Period: January 8, 2021 (Fri) – February 7, 2021 (Sun)
*Wise Integration Inc., SCRAMBLE Inc., and SUNNY SIDE UP CAREER Inc. may require employees to come to the office as needed.
B) Alternating shift – Shift system to perform duties at home and in the office on alternate days
Target Company: STEADY STUDY Inc.
Implementation Period: January 8, 2021 (Fri) – February 7, 2021 (Sun)
*STEADY STUDY Inc. will adjust the intervals between office visits for each department as appropriate.
C) Mixed shift – Shift system to incorporate work at home and in the office during the day
Target Companies: Kumunam Entertainment Inc., Agile Inc.
Implementation Period: January 8, 2021 (Fri) – February 7, 2021 (Sun)
*If the state of emergency period is extended, the working period for each shift may be extended.
