Woman Innovation Inc. and SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. will jointly launch the project “WDGs ~Women Development Goals~,” which disseminates information and messages about activities related to SDGs undertaken by women, ahead of the SDGs Week (September 18 (Fri) to September 26 (Sat), 2020), which will be held globally in conjunction with the session of the United Nations General Assembly. Woman Innovation Inc. has been promoting activities related to “promoting women’s empowerment and revitalizing society” as the secretariat of the HAPPY WOMAN Executive Committee since 2015, focusing on the “International Women’s Day” on March 8, which is designated by the United Nations. SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. joined the public relations support team in 2018, expanding the scope of information dissemination.

The mission of this project is to “clarify the current location of SDGs undertaken by women.” Goal 5, “Achieve gender equality,” can be said to be a “horizontal string” of the 17 challenges that SDGs aims to solve. Based on this goal, we will interpret SDGs from the perspective of women, transcending the frameworks of affiliated companies, organizations, and industries.
