SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Etsuko Tsugihara; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) will establish Agile Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazunari Higuchi; hereinafter referred to as “Agile”) on July 1, 2020, as a company to support the development of new business models and products, with the aim of expanding the business domain of the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP and strengthening its integrated solution capabilities. The company will be established with investment from SUNNY SIDE UP Partners Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Koichiro Matsumoto), a 100% subsidiary of the Company.

By establishing a new business and product development support company within the group, we will be able to provide solutions not only in the “marketing and communication domain,” such as PR and promotion, which the SUNNY SIDE UP GROUP has excelled at, but also in the “management and business strategy domain,” which is positioned as a higher-level concept in corporate management. We will evolve into a group structure that comprehensively solves the management and business challenges faced by each company, from the construction of management and business strategies to actual output.

■ Aim of the PR Communication Group in Establishing a New Business and Product Development Support Company

In modern times, with the added external factor of the novel coronavirus, an increasing number of companies are being forced to change their management policies and reorganize their businesses, and many industries are facing a literal “period of transformation.” Although various companies are taking on the challenge of creating new mechanisms such as “reorganization of existing businesses” and “development of new businesses,” the road to putting each business on track is not an easy one.

We have signed an advisory and production agreement with Tetsuya Shigematsu, former President and Representative Director of Fields Corporation, to promote new business development in the content area. By 1 connecting the values and strengths of each company (business value editing), 2 creating new businesses (new business development), and 3 promoting business expansion (domestic and international business support), we will transform each project into a “promising business adapted to the new era.”
