What's SUNNY SIDE UP.

It’s all about creating a buzz

I’m going to begin by divulging a secret - back in 1985 when Sunny Side Up was established, I was actually still a high school student. Sunny Side Up’s twenty six year history is one of a fearless group that began a business with little knowledge of social conventions, let alone industry conventions. But we embarked on a journey driven by curiosity, creativity and energy alone. We were constantly guided by the words “It’s all about creating a buzz”.

We always strived to keep ourselves in the midst of excitement. Having experienced one challenge after another, I am convinced we have always been motivated by freedom of thought and a love of challenges, rather than precedents and disapproval. Our work was truly evidence of our own style and was often praised, “This is the kind of work we know and love Sunny Side Up for”.

This concept of the “Sunny Side Up style” that is now familiar is a brand image that I believe is an invaluable asset for our company and those around us. But rather than settling for the brand image we have achieved to be the “Sunny Side Up style”, we have been constantly searching for how we should grow and increase what we can offer.

We have come to a term that we believe represents our role: A Creative PR Enterprise

Sunny Side Up identifies as a group of communication professionals which doesn’t mean only communicating messages carefully and effectively. By incorporating ideas based on our accumulated expertise, we add social worth and a new level of added value to communication. We continually seek opportunities to create news that can make the world a happier place.

This underlying concept has pushed Sunny Side Up well beyond the realms of a regular public relations firm. Looking to the future, I believe we should not only continue to execute branding and social value by utilizing our communication abilities but also to perform beyond expectations and create work for a truly worthwhile business as a Creative PR Enterprise.

The people of Japan have experienced unprecedented multiple disasters. In a way it seems Japan is being challenged at all levels and this is also true for professionals in all fields. Unfortunately if we look objectively at some of the problems, it is possible that some stem from overall poor communication.

As communication professionals, we believe in people’s potential, and have great expectations of what people can create and bringing hope for the future. I feel that it is our role to create this is the kind of society.

A fun filled company. A company that will always find a solution. A company that exudes positivity to work with.

We continue our journey in hope of living up to such comments!
