SUNNY SIDE UP Inc. (SSU) has agreed to form a strategic capital and business alliance with Peatix Inc. (Peatix), a global online ticketing platform, to have a stronger partnership.

In March 2015, Peatix received a US$5 Million investment from strategic investor SPH Media Fund, the corporate venture fund of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd.; lead investor DG Incubation, the investment subsidiary of Digital Garage; and others. Existing investors from the Series A round, Fidelity Growth Partners Japan and Draper Nexus, also participated in the round. The funding will help Peatix enhance their mobile and event discovery technology, improve the way sponsors reach out to event attendees, and expand and establish a local presence in new markets. SSU, as one of the investors, reached an agreement with Peatix to enter into a capital and business alliance.

By forming capital and business alliances with startup companies in the startup or early stages, like this one, delivering such SSU’s expertise as public relations and marketing solutions, and increasing business valuation of the entities SSU invests in, SSU will boost a medium and long-term growth with a focus on marketing communications, SSU’s core business.
